| These are the descendants of Theodorus (Dirk) van Bruggen. The line of my paternal grandfather,
Hendricus Wilhelmus van Bruggen. These ancestors are predominantly from Amsterdam, Noord-Holland and
the surrounding area. A lot of the information was gathered from various genealogy websites and on-line archives. Most notably the Gemeentearchief Amsterdam as well as several others. I would like to give a special thank you to Jan Brul and Otto Brunsting who searched the Amsterdam archives for me and made copies of many records. Their help has been invaluable.
